Self-shooting PD

We are looking for a self-shooting documentary director to work on a long-running factual obsdoc wildlife/conservation series for a well-known broadcaster about the lives and relationships of the animals at a rescue centre, as well as covering international rescues and projects.

The successful candidate will need to have/be:

• Observational and factual documentary Broadcast Credits.
• A flexible and committed team player who is open to learning and contributing in a small company environment.
• Evidence of strong storytelling and writing skills.
• Ideally a Zoology or Animal Behaviour qualification and/or 3 years working with animals and a passion for wildlife.
• Edit producing and editing an advantage.
• Self-motivated, good attention to detail and are willing to turn their hand to many tasks and different projects.
• The ability to work calmly under pressure and often to a tight schedule.
• Having a car is a necessity.
• If not living in the area, relocation or a weekly commute will be required as we are based on site.
• Potential foreign travel - valid passport and work visa for the UK required.
• Additional languages will be in the applicant's favour.
