We're looking for someone with both filming and editing skills, to join us at our Leigh-on-Sea office where you'll collaborate with a dynamic, creative team to bring our clients' visions to life. From filming on location to developing and editing for digital platforms, you'll play a pivotal role in producing captivating visual experiences.



This is an exciting time to join Storm as we are about to launch Leigh-on-Sea's first soundproof filming and podcast studio set within a 2000 sq. ft. custom-built facility, with a 9 metre cyclorama and 3 podcast sets.

Job requirements
Day-to-day you'll be:

Assisting the production team by attending and filming on video shoots across various locations (you'll work alongside a team of other creatives and directors)

Editing different types, formats and sizes of content for digital and social channels; this will be across multiple B2B and B2C clients to produce pieces ranging from animations and motion graphics through to product explainers, interview Q&As, corporate brand videos and much more

Working closely with the design team, feeding into creative concept meetings and inputting ideas into storyboards for certain projects

Supporting any additional ad-hoc or internal video/editing tasks as required



Requirements:

At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role

Competent in video editing, using Adobe's Creative Suite (Premiere Pro and After Effects)

Experience in filming on shoot locations with a strong understanding of equipment, lighting and production set-ups

??Must be a creative thinker and have the ability to come up with ideas and concepts

A good eye for design and composition and the ability to produce clean content through animation and motion graphics - you must have a portfolio to demonstrate this

Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints, delivering content on time and on budget for our clients

Genuine interest and curiosity in learning and researching new editing/filming styles and techniques
