Coordinating Producer

We are looking for a Coordinating Producer to work in our UEFA department.

The role suits an experienced sports television Producer who is highly organized, creative, revels in being part of a team and has excellent people skills.

The right candidate will be not only be good at organizing staffing structures, but also have a talent for edit producing features and promos.
They will be expected to line manage staff below them and to be client-facing and have a strong understanding of the content we produce across the whole department.
They will also have ambitions to lead on creativity and on the evolution of both the UEFA department and Whisper as a whole.
They must be full of ideas for content as well as workflows.
They will work at the same level as the Series Producers on The UCL Show and The UEFA Europa Show. Where suitable, they will help with pitches.
This is a Kew-based role with limited opportunity to go on shoots.

Key Responsibilities:
• To organise the staffing system for the APs across the UCL Show and the UEFA Europa Show
• To ensure staff are getting the right opportunities within the department
• To expand our pool of high-quality freelance staff across the world
• To maximise the working relationships within the department for maximum efficiency and
• productivity
• To liaise at all times with the Creative Director, the Producers and the Production team to ensure the right staffing is in place for the varying content needs
• To work with Production Management to ensure filming, editing and staffing schedules align with production budgets.
• To develop exceptional creative and original content and deliver this on budget, on brief and on time
• To be comfortable client facing to ensure clients and partners (both internal and external) are well served maintaining Whisper's excellent relationships and communication
• To help shape strategical and editorial direction, keeping abreast of developments and trends in the genre.
• To be able to develop relationships with many different partners and contributors, always operating according to the Whisper playbook with integrity and fairness.
• To work independently, quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• To promote equality and diversity in the team and on-screen and to adhere to Health and Safety policies.
• To enhance the editorial and creative vision of the company, supporting those around you in doing the same, and upholding Whisper's reputation by embodying our ethos
• Ability to understand the budget and resources and work within the scope of the budget to deliver value for money on screen
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging, entertaining and original content
• Outstanding organisation and communication skills
• Strong human empathy and a passion for ensuring people are enjoying their jobs
• Ability to motivate and lead a team creatively and practically in a positive manner, in pressured environments.
• High production values and a strong passion for the content creation
• Knowledge of the global freelance market
• Understanding Whisper's editorial guidelines and other compliance policies
• Excellent communication and written skills and an aptitude to learn new tasks, and a good attention to detail
• Strong team ethic and the ability to prioritise workloads with ease, working in a team environment
• An understanding of the budgeting and resources required to deliver varied projects
• Actively show a commitment to on and off-screen diversity

Location:
The base for this position will be in Kew, London.

Working Days:
This role will require a degree of flexibility and weekend working. You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirements.
It is a 4:1 work pattern, 4 days in office, 1 day working from home.
Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week.
Whisper offer the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.
