We're looking for a motivated and eager Development Team Assistant to join our Comedy team in London. The successful candidate will be committed to a career in scripted television. Driven by passion and curiosity, they will already be immersed in the industry.

Diary management experience is essential here, and ideally Adobe Suite design skills too. We're looking for someone who can support the Head of Comedy and has worked in a personal assistant type role previously, but also demonstrates strong editorial interests and can champion what we create.

In addition to supporting the Head of Comedy, the Development Assistant will support the development team with administrative tasks such as designing pitch decks, reading scripts, writing script reports, awards submissions, attending stand-up performances, and going along to readings and plays. You may also create tasters, uploading content to and from Vimeo, Dropbox and Box.

This role provides excellent exposure to a busy comedy development team. You will see how ideas are formed and shaped depending on the demands of the market or specific clients. You will learn about trends and how to spot talent, develop a thorough knowledge of the industry and grow the confidence to contribute ideas which are commercially and creatively astute.
