Digital Content Creator & Videographer

Manchester

We are seeking a talented and creative Digital Content Creator & Videographer to join Housemates, a dynamic and fast-growing company in the student housing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content for our social media channels, as well as supporting Lydia Jones, the CEO of Housemates, with her personal brand. You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our digital content strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:

- Develop and execute innovative content ideas that align with Housemates' brand and target audience.
- Create high-quality and visually appealing videos, including but not limited to vlogs, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, tutorials, and promotional videos.
- Capture, edit, and produce captivating visuals that effectively convey messages and stories.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with the overall marketing strategy and campaign goals.

2. Social Media Management:

- Manage and maintain Housemates' social media channels (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook) by consistently uploading and scheduling content.
- Monitor and engage with the community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize content performance and increase reach and engagement.
- Utilize analytics and insights to evaluate content effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for future content strategies.

3. Personal Brand Support:

- Collaborate with Lydia Jones, the CEO of Housemates, to create content for her personal brand across various platforms.
- Assist in brainstorming and executing creative ideas to enhance Lydia's personal brand image and online presence.
- Capture and edit professional-quality videos featuring Lydia for her personal brand, including interviews, speaking engagements, and vlogs.
- Help manage Lydia's social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and engaging content.

4. Equipment and Production:

- Oversee and maintain all videography and photography equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Keep up-to-date with industry-standard equipment and techniques to deliver the highest quality content.
- Manage the production process from pre-production planning, shooting, to post-production editing and distribution.

Experience and Skills:

- Proven experience in digital content creation and videography, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Knowledge of current social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Strong storytelling abilities and a creative eye for capturing compelling visuals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
