Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are an award winning digital content studio and media network who are currently on a quest to find a Junior Audio Editor to join our team at History Hit. History Hit is the UK's biggest digital history brand across podcasts, Video on Demand, social media and the web, with more than 100,000 subscribers to its TV and audio networks. Its podcast network, including Dan Snow's History Hit, has millions of listens each month. Is this your next opportunity?

The Junior Editor will primarily dive into audio editing for our podcasts and projects, bringing a passion for history to the forefront. They'll also have the exciting opportunity to collaborate with our producers each week, crafting catchy labels and descriptions while exploring exciting new formats for our content!

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

Edit 4 to 5 podcast episodes weekly, managing a range of complexities.
Upload completed podcast episodes.
Collaborate with Producers and talent to produce high-quality content and episode descriptions.
Contribute to the development of new podcast formats, talent, and pilot episodes.
Assist in consistently enhancing the audio quality of our podcasts.
Conduct preparation and research for podcasts as required.
Create promotional trailers for episodes as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

Proven experience in audio/podcast editing and a strong enthusiasm for history.
Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving audio-related issues.
Commitment to excellence, where impeccable time management and communication work together to meet even the tightest of deadlines.
Enjoy connecting with people? Your friendly nature will be a big plus!
Awareness of how to use music and SFX libraries (desired).
Understanding of Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro (desired).
Familiar with the use of AI in editing/tidying up audio (desired).
