We are looking for a Junior Video Editor to join our Originals Video Team here at Ladbible. Our ideal candidate will have experience in editing social video content, working to tight deadlines and have a good eye to spot a great hook for our channels. .

What the opportunity looks like

Edit to a high standard using Adobe Premiere Pro, working across LADbible Original formats including Snack Wars, Agree to Disagree, Minutes With and many others.
Undertake animation and motion graphics tasks at a proficient level using After effects.
Ad-hoc shoot support duties, such as DITing on shoots.
Colour correction and grading images and videos, conforming to broadcast and social standards and guidelines
Sourcing audio tracks and sound mixing edits, creating well mastered tracks across multiple layers
Delivering content on multiple different formats including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snap and Facebook.
Ensuring all content is produced within brand guidelines and in-keeping with the tone of relevant LADbible Group channels
Work closely with Senior Producer/Editor to make sure you are working to your best ability, to deadline and meeting quotas.
Taking direction from the Senior Video Editors to complete editing tasks
Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage projects to a high standard, adhering to LADbible Video Team workflows and processes at all time.
Maintaining hard drives and archives
Skills and experience we'd like you to have

Experience in a similar role at a production company, post-house, agency, publisher or brand
Professional experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, with exceptional proficiency in Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop.
Good level of proficiency in colour grading using Adobe Premiere
Good level of proficiency in sound mixing and mastering
Passion for LADbible content.
Be able to demonstrate initiative, problem solving and creativity on a daily basis
Confident in Microsoft Office suite of programmes
