Junior Videographer & Editor

London

Tape London is looking for a talented junior videographer and editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the companies' vision, and to work as part of the content team to produce videos which attract/engage new and existing audiences on our social channels.

Ultimately, as a Film and Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.



Key roles and abilities are,

Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere and Photoshop and also Final Cut Pro.
Prior experience working as a freelance video editor, or casual video editing experience.
Produce and edit original content and cut existing materials into new edits.
The ability to edit quickly, convert to multiple formats and post to various outlets
Pro-actively produce original short-form content for the web and mobile
Support any other digital marketing initiatives as they are developed.
Undertake any other activities as required by the head of content, some of which may require work during unsociable hours, including weekends.
Be able to operate professional camera equipment at a high level.
Ideally you have shot personal / home videos, or worked as a freelance videographer.
You have experience producing content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Vimeo or other online platforms & websites.
The ability to handle multiple projects per week.
A key understanding of the revision process - and working through revisions diligently.
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Take a brief to grasp production team's needs and specifications
Motion Graphics and After Effects experience would be preferred but not essential.

Knowledge of basic audio mixing
Able to handle color correction
Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro & Adobe Premier Pro
Knowledge of Photoshop for editing photos and creating simple graphics for videos
