MailOnline is looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to join our London video team based in High Street Kensington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer to further develop motion design skills in a fast-paced media setting, working for an industry leader with a 16.1 million worldwide readership.Suitable candidates will have experience in a busy digital environment, can recognise opportunities for visual storytelling and will be able to work with producers to create eye-catching and unique motion graphics.You will be enthusiastic about news and current affairs and be able to hit the ground running. We're looking for a self-starter who can use their initiative to work both independently and within a team.Key Responsibilities: Create 2D and 3D original shows that are designed to work on YouTube.Work closely with the senior producer/showrunner to set the direction of the show, contributing to conversations around development, episode ideas, and technical aspects of productionPitch episode ideas and constantly push to improve the quality of the show.Take an analytical approach to show performance, using data to understand which parts of the show are working and which aren't. Required Skills and Qualities: Good knowledge After Effects and 3D modelling software like Blender, Cinema 4D or UnrealKnowledge of Photoshop and Premiere ProGood layout skills and a good grasp of design principles is a mustLaser-focused, organised, and exemplifying meticulous attention to detailConfidence in abilities to help build a strong MailOnline / DailyMail.com voice across our video output
