Blueprint Pictures is seeking an Office Assistant to join our busy team. The role will report directly to the Producer's Assistant/Production Coordinator. The candidate will be required to assist the office and team administratively and generally in the office. The candidate must have at least one years' in a previous office role. The candidate should have very strong administrative and organisational skills. A working knowledge of the film industry is beneficial. POSITION - Office Assistant START DATE - June 2022 (6 month fixed term) OFFICE ADDRESS - 32-36 Great Portland Street, W1W 8QX HOURS - Monday - Friday, 09:30 - 18:30 RESPONSIBILITIES - Administrative and operational support to the Blueprint Pictures office, including but not limited to: Answering the company's phones and taking messages. Greeting guests as they arrive for meetings. Organising meeting rooms and clearing out when meetings have finished. Managing food deliveries to keep the office kitchen stocked with supplies. Running the Blueprint info email inbox. Making drinks for guests and the team. Running the company's social media platforms. Keeping the office and kitchen clean and tidy. Ordering stock and office supplies. Running errands outside of the office. Handing out post. Purchasing furniture, furnishings, general office equipment. Booking taxis, couriers. Managing petty cash and submitting regular monthly petty cash claims. Filing documents on the company's server and creating watermarked copies of scripts. Managing the company's off-site storage facility - including transporting assets there. Assisting the team with IT queries. Emptying bins, putting out the recycling, organising shredding collections. Managing office suppliers - electricity, gas, water, mobile phone contracts etc. Liaising with building management on building maintenance. Supporting and cover for the Film/TV assistants when they are busy or out of the office. REQUIREMENTS - At least one year's experience in an office environment A pro-active nature Excellent administrative and organisational skills Excellent interpersonal skills The ability to work closely as part of a team Enthusiasm for film and television Unfortunately, due to the large number of applications, we will only be able to respond to successful applicants.
