OFFICE RUNNER FOR SMALL BUT BUSY DOCUMENTARY COMPANY
An opportunity for an office runner has come up at AMOS Pictures.

Starting in January, this entry-level position will involve
- Opening and closing the office
- Making tea
- Sweeping/dish-washing/general office tidiness
- Scanning and processing expense receipts
- Handling petty cash, shopping for kitchen supplies
- Local collections and deliveries
- Logging rushes, transcribing interviews
- Learning to operate AVID to a basic level
- Learning to prep and operate sound kit
- Learning to prep camera kit

We expect a one-year commitment to the position. During this time the office runner will have opportunities to learn how to digitize, wrangle data, attain basic proficiency in AVID, learn how to record sound, assist with keeping the kit room in good order, and conduct basic research duties including hotel/travel bookings.

This position is not a fast-track to becoming a researcher. The office runner will be in a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of numeracy, literacy, efficiency and discretion, but wouldn't be suitable for a film-school graduate looking for their first broadcast credit.
