Personal Assistant

London

Voltage TV are an award-winning factual production company making premium documentaries and big scale factual entertainment. We make several high-impact series and films: from large scale social experiment Tempting Fortune for Channel 4 right through to our first scripted collaboration, the Emmy-nominated Scoop for Netflix. Now part of BBC Studios and with offices in London and Bristol, we are currently in production with Netflix, Amazon Prime as well as all major broadcasters.

Being the PA to the founders of Voltage is no mean feat. No two days will be the same and you should be unfazed by things that change at a minute's notice (then often back again!). As well as the usual expected PA-work listed in the requirements below, you'll be a vital part of the team and help chip in and shape ideas - you will truly be at the heart of Voltage in this role. You'll need to be highly organised and diligent (you'll probably have a to-do list about your to-do-list and love checking things off more than anyone) and be able to multi-task like no other. Along with our office co-ordinator, you will really become the lynchpin in what is a creative, buzzy and hugely fun office.

Something most important to us is your personality: you will watch more TV than anyone you know, be super passionate about Voltage productions and want to make sure that everyone who walks in feels welcome and happy to be in the office. The job is yours to mould into your own shape and get involved across the company - before you know it, you'll be in demand to assist across all productions and development. Nurturing careers is really important to us at Voltage; indeed after 18 months you will have the opportunity to be placed to work full time on a production - whether that be in development, production editorial or production management.

You will work closely with the Office Co-ordinator for many things including organising and attending all social events, company away-days; taking charge of the company website, press and social media. We'll also ask you to get involved in some recruitment and HR duties across the company as well.

We'd love to hear from you if you think this role is exactly what you've been looking for and are already excellent or keen to learn the below skills and tasks:
* MS Office
* Multiple diary management for CEO, MD and HoP
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to prioritise and multi-task
* General company administration such as arranging monthly board meetings, sending out contracts and handling expenses
* Arranging travel and accommodation
* Website and social media management
* Creating and sending out TX cards before new programmes go on air
* Organising social events, parties and company awaydays
* Working very closely with office co-ordinator to open and close the office in Fitzrovia, cover each other during breaks / annual leave and to facilitate each other going on shoots when required
* You will need to be an outgoing, nurturing and extremely well organised, where discretion and confidentiality are paramount.

Voltage is committed to ensuring we continue to encompass diversity and inclusion across our company, and we encourage strongly applications from those from underrepresented backgrounds.

Timeline:
* First stage interviews to take place mid-September
* Second stage interviews to take place late September
* Position to begin from mid-October
