The Photo & AV Studio team sits within the marketing organisation and has the enviable position of straddling two worlds in the entertainment industry: Photo & AV asset creation and global communication strategy. We specialise in capturing and creating photo & video assets that shape, enhance and support title campaigns for our Netflix content including Series, Films, and Documentaries. Simply put, we produce content that compels people to watch our shows through multiple channels and platforms.About the RoleWe're looking for a senior creative storyteller with an editorial and/or entertainment photography background to be based in our London office. The role requires a high level of creativity, an inquisitive, innovative, self-motivated personality and a strategic thinker who is able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at any one time. This role is highly cross functional working with Social, Marketing, Publicity, Product, and more to provide best in class photography from our productions to create stories press and consumers alike can't stop talking about. There will also be an element of AV asset creation however strong knowledge of the photography industry is the priority.Responsibilities of the role:Develop and execute UK strategy, per project/title, to capture, produce and utilise creative material to enhance and support the title campaign throughout its lifecycleOversee photography and AV creative on a slate of projects that include series, films and documentariesDrive communication with your internal UK partners in marketing, social and publicity, and external partners - showrunners/filmmakers, talent and talent repsHire and oversee unit photographers and video crews, including script and schedule review and communication with productionAssist with the asset management and servicing of materialManage title budgetsSkills & Requirements:10+ years experience working across visual asset creation, publishing, marketing, publicity and/or entertainment Must possess solid organizational skills, model effective time management and deliver consistently excellent verbal and written communications across internal and external teamsStrong creative eye with a keen understanding of visual storytelling in the service of audience-first communication strategiesMust be able to work independently, make sound decisions, think strategically, and maintain accuracy and attention to detailExperience working with TV/film productions, talent, filmmakersUnderstand and interest in copyright laws, usage licenses and embargoesUnderstand the photography/video industry and with strong networks in each Strong knowledge in creative digital assets formats and asset management Extensive knowledge of Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Pro is preferred
