What you'll be doing
During this 12 month programme, you'll experience rotations across Sky News which could include: You could be:
• Junior journalist, working with our planning, research and news gathering teams to spot and develop the best stories

Programme facts
• This role is based in Osterley, West London
• Programme duration is 12 months
• Expected start October 2022.

• Anyone aged 18 or above by September 2022
• A passion for news and telling stories
• Ready for a challenge, adaptable and keen to learn from new experiences
• Excited to work in a fast-paced, 24-hour news environment.

programme is aimed at anyone aged 18 or over by September 2022 that is not currently studying at university or a graduate.

Your application journey
Step 1 - Complete our application form by entering your details and academic information - don't forget to include any previous work or experience that you've had. As part of the form, you'll be asked a number of questions to find out what you know about Sky and why you've applied to this specific programme.
Step 2 - You'll be invited to complete a digital assessment. This stage will ask you a number of different scenarios to look at how you respond in specific situations. We'll be looking at your behavioural and cognitive strengths. Responses to these questions vary from written answers, to recorded video.
Step 3 - For the final stage of your application, we'll invite you to a digital assessment centre and give you some tasks to get to know you better. The day will give you a practical insight into the role and will assess your Sky fit for TV and media.
Once you've completed your assessment day, we'll let you know when you can expect to hear back from us.
