You'll already be familiar with the day-to-day responsibilities of the role, and while we'd love you to come ready with contacts to grow the business, you could also be looking for an opportunity to step up, working with us to develop and shape your own role and that of the wider Post team.Digital Orchard is a unique film and digital services facility working on major high-end television and feature film productions alongside commercials, music videos and short form projects from established and up-and-coming filmmakers.We have just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and have exciting plans for the 10 years ahead, including building a new hub for film-making, meeting a Net Zero commitment by 2023, and making a positive and long-term impact on the industry in regards to diversity and inclusion via our dedicated 'Foundation' department.Job Title: Post ProducerReports to: Managing DirectorPrime Function of Role:To help grow Digital Orchard's post-production department whilst managing and scheduling all post-production work. Main duties and responsibilities include:• Be main contact point for clients posting at Digital Orchard ensuring clients' needs are met throughout the whole post workflow and beyond• Working with MD to bring in new business• Helping to develop and grow post production department • Working with and scheduling DO's in-house and freelance colourists• Develop new areas of business in post-production• Troubleshooting, identifying problems and providing solutions • Managing resources to schedule bookings in the most efficient way• Being responsible for hiring and managing a support team• Being responsible for accuracy and efficiency across the department• Directly engaging with clients as required, via email, phone, meetings and events • Budget management and reporting• Other post-production related duties as requiredDetails of the role:• Fully flexible hours with availability outside of office hours and weekends• Salary dependent on experience - from £38,000 to £48,000 per annum• The Digital Orchard office is based near Chorleywood (HP8 4AX) - please ensure that you could easily travel to and work from the officePersonal specification:• Excellent written communication skills (Essential)• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills (Essential)• Excellent knowledge of all post processes and software (Essential)• A friendly manner with a flexible and dedicated approach to work (Essential)• Highly self-motivated, loaded with common sense, resourceful, and confident working independently (Essential)• Able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at once, and to manage strategy and delivery tasks side by side (Essential)• 5 years + in a similar role or equivalent experience (Essential)• Knowledge of both film and digital workflows (Highly Desirable)• Budget management experience (Highly Desirable)To apply, please email your CV and a max one-page cover note to hello@digitalorchardgroup.com, including relevant examples that demonstrate how you meet the personal specification and ability to deliver the main duties and responsibilities.
