Production Co-ordinator

STV Studios Drama is an award-winning, high end drama producer, creating original content for the global market. Some of our work includes the BAFTA winning TV movie 'Elizabeth Is Missing', the award-winning BBC drama 'The Victim' and two series of Screw for Channel 4.

The Drama team are recruiting for an experienced Production Co-ordinator based in Glasgow on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will support the office based production team working across STV Studios' slate of drama productions at different stages in development and production.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about TV drama, who is confident managing varied workloads and meeting deadlines whilst assessing every changing priorities. Previous relevant experience is required.

Key responsibilities:
• Updating of ongoing budgets, monitoring of departmental spend and raising and maintaining purchase orders.
• General administration, database management, diary management and booking of travel and accommodation.
• Updating the production manual and preparing and distributing documents as required.
• Management of awards calendar and ensuring submissions are made on time.
• Assisting with freelance crew, requesting CVs and updating trackers on availability.
• Ensuring all production schedules are kept up to date.
• Co-ordinate with IT to ensure freelancers and staff have IT accounts and necessary equipment.
• Monitoring of industry updates and keeping track of production changes in rates
• Overseeing of post-production and deliverables to broadcasters and STV in house
• Co-ordinating production and post workflows to help manage the slate of productions.
• Assist in any other aspects of the work of the company as reasonably required.

Skills and experience:
• A strong proven track record as a Production Co-ordinator, working within an inhouse or television production environment is essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience of budgeting and knowledge of Movie Magic software is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask across a diverse and changing workload.
• Enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, including strong Excel skills and Teams.
• Knowledge of filmmaking.
