GB News is seeking an exceptional candidate to join the fastest growing TV and radio channel as a Production coordinator within our team. You will be a key figure in supporting the programming team in our daily operation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of Television and Editorial Director managing the scheduling of talent and editorial staff.

We're looking for an exceptional candidate who will take responsibility for the rota management of our entire newsroom.

You will be responsible for building excellent working relationships with all staff producers, presenters, and senior management to establish and deliver robust rotas with appropriate contingency plans in place.

You'll manage sickness absence, annual leave, shift swaps and temporary staffing using an online rota management system.

You must be a strong problem solver and proactively look for ways to improve efficiency.

Self-initiative and forward planning are an essential part of the role, as is a high attention to detail as the successful candidate will liaise with our internal production, accounting, and HR departments on a regular basis.

Confidentiality is a crucial aspect of this role and therefore the ideal candidate would have experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information.

The ideal candidate would also have previous experience in rota management.
