We will also consider experienced Production Management Assistants who are ready to make the step up to Production Coordinator.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Production Manager, and in partnership with the editorial team, help to deliver outstanding, distinctive, multi-platform content.

Provide logistical and coordinator support to their production teams, potentially working across a number of programmes, at any one time, ensuring delivery on schedule within budget and within operational and financial constraints.

Contribute to, and help to implement, practical actions to reduce environmental impact throughout production.

Supporting the Production Manager, you'll be clearing copyright quickly, sourcing resources and locations, problem solving, retrieving quotes from suppliers, and negotiating deals.

Working to tight deadlines, sometimes under pressure, while always producing work to a high standard.

Are you the right candidate?

• A genuine interest in BBC Studios Scotland's output.
• Experience as a Production Co-ordinator for TV Broadcast (Production Management Assistants ready to step up will also be considered)
• Experience of setting up complex international shoots would be advantageous (and will be essential on some of our productions)
• Experience in delivering to multiple platforms
• Knowledge of co-ordinating and delivering a range of/elements of productions on time and on budget to a variety of broadcasters
• Confident at negotiating rates with external suppliers and raising contracts
• Good working knowledge of archive and copyright clearance
• Confident managing budgets and cost reporting
