We are looking for a QC operator to join our Picture Head team in London. This position is ideal for someone looking to move up into a mid-weight role. The main responsibilities are to review outgoing approval and final deliverable videos, with a particular focus on promotional A/V materials for Film and Television (including Trailers, TV Spots, Social Media output). The ideal candidate requires strong knowledge of Broadcast standards (UK and International) and common Master and Online deliverable formats.Job Responsibilities:• Perform QC rounds at each stage of the Finishing process, including reviewing creative offline, client approval files, and final masters & deliverables.• Perform full evaluations of A/V assets from simple human errors, sync and content issues, to digital anomalies and finishing artifacts. Diagnose the origin and discuss solutions for fixes.• Ensure all asset content matches creative and branding requirements applicable to each request• Content QC of localised files into multiple languages with reference translation sheets• Review delivery specs, prioritising work and making decisions to catch and prevent issues in a timely manner. Flag bottlenecks, atypical or unique requests, coordinate solutions• Ensure all content meets industry and client's specs, while maintaining the highest standards Requirements:• Knowledge of various platforms and common industry file formats: ProRes, H265, XDCAM, AVC etc. • Experienced in using Broadcast Monitors and Video Scopes in the full technical assessment of material• Aptitude for producing accurate work against tight deadlines.• At least 1 year of experience in a similar roleCompetencies:• Excellent communication skills• Thrives in a fast paced, creative environment• Highly motivated and organized • Ability to multitask• Able to build partnerships with both local and international teams. • Be able to accommodate a flexible shiftBenefits:• 23 days holiday (rising to 25 days after 5 years service)• Company Pension Scheme• Season ticket loan (from day 1)• Life Assurance • Cyclescheme • The Farm's Market - discount package with BenefitHub• Eye Test & Glasses reimbursement • Recruitment Referral Bonus scheme • Weekly yoga classes on zoom
