Senior Post Production Manager - Scripted

The Position:

As a Senior Post Production Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing our in-house post production processes and workflows to meet client schedules and budgets. You'll be the linchpin between internal departments and our clients, ensuring seamless workflow and timely delivery while upholding our commitment to quality. You will also be responsible for mentoring and nurturing junior members of the team.



Key Responsibilities:

Manage the availability and scheduling of all internal resources to meet client requirements, optimising resource utilisation.
Assist with technical workflows during both the quoting stage and once the project is confirmed, providing clients with clear and practical proposals tailored to their projects post production needs.
Advise clients on best practices for the latest workflows, technology and deliverable requirements.
Arrange and facilitate client kick-off meetings, coordinating key creatives' attendance and input to ensure alignment with client needs.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels, actively contributing to the sales process to secure repeat business.
Project manage all post production services internally, from scheduling through to costing and client invoicing.
Track project costs versus budget, keeping clients informed of the current financial status and addressing any discrepancies.
Proactively resolve any issues in a timely manner to ensure a first-class client experience.
Coordinate freelancers and suppliers as needed, including raising purchase orders to ensure smooth service delivery.
Collaborate with the Head of Production, Director of Post Production and other Senior PPMs to implement processes and to improve team procedures.
Ensure the PPM process document is followed by the team and set an example of proper process adherence.
Maintain composure under pressure to maintain confidence within the team.
Display a positive demeanour towards the company, projects and clients.
Actively participate and engage in internal and external meetings.
Fulfil any additional tasks or duties as required.

Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

Minimum 4 years' previous experience as a Post Production Manager.
Strong understanding of digital workflows, including Editing, Grading, Sound, VFX and deliverables.
Proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines and strict guidelines.
Experience in successfully managing large-scale Drama / Feature projects.
Desirable:

Understanding of post-production workflows, systems, equipment and the challenges of file-based delivery.
Technical knowledge of digital file formats and codecs.
Previous knowledge of CETA iCFM scheduling software.
