We are looking to hire a brand-new production team for an exciting and entertaining children's programme beginning Jan 2022

To start at the end of Jan 2022 until October, we are looking for a confident SHOOTING ASSISTANT PRODUCER to closely support the Shooting Series Director on location in London, as well as working in pre-production to assist the office-based Series Producer and Production Management team in West London.

With experience on shows featuring families and young people, the ideal candidate will be skilled at filming factual and reality content on cameras such as the Panasonic EVA-1, Sony FS7 or Canon C300, and will have a clear understanding of what is needed to create visually exciting and editorially driven character-based television. In addition, the SHOOTING ASSISTANT PRODUCER will also be required to regularly drive crew vehicles, prep kit and props for filming and expertly wrangle and manage the movement of data.

As this role may also include developing and shaping stories for the series, a familiarity with children's programming is advantageous but not essential.

Experience of high-volume, long-running shows would be a benefit, as well as a clear awareness of all required location paperwork for productions (e.g., all releases, legal, compliance and Health & Safety etc).

Overall, the right candidate will be an unflappable people person with strong communication skills and demonstrable experience in handling talent, contributors, and the ever-changing needs of a fast-paced location-based series.
