The Team

The Global Digital and Social Media team helps all Fremantle's production companies and licensee's exploit their content to the fullest ability across all social media platforms. The team provide expertise on best practice, optimisation, monetisation, piracy and all other facets of social media.



The Role

This is a new position and an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to join the central Social Media team working across the exploitation of Fremantle repertoire across social media. The successful candidate will be a digital native with a key willingness to learn about the intricacies and new products social media provides, a genuine interest in TV and Fremantle's catalogue.



Here you'll get to:

Research rights positions and source content for Fremantle's global channel network using Fremantle's archive.
Oversee the multiple Fremantle CMS.
Oversee the Fremantle FB Business manager and rights manager.
Help build the business across emerging and new social platforms.
Work across new asset management software.
Launch new social channels.
Input metadata and SEO optimization around videos to drive audience engagement.
Liaise with production territories globally to source content.
Use data and case studies to create compelling arguments for the creation of new channels and projects, to be communicated both internally and externally.
Deal with queries, rights and technical issues that arise daily from our work on YouTube and Facebook.




What we're looking for:

Passion for YouTube, Facebook and all social media platforms.
Passion for TV content.
Proficient in Premiere Pro/Photoshop - or equivalent photo/video editing software.
Expertise in building audiences and communities around content on YouTube and Facebook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Any additional skills around video and photo editing software are advantageous.
Experience of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
An understanding and appreciation of FremantleMedia brands.
An understanding of SEO.
Experience working with other online video, social media, and digital platforms (YT, FB, Twitter, Instagram).
Keen interest in developing brands in the digital space.
