Team Assistant / Junior Development Researcher

MGM Television is the home of The Apprentice, Survivor, The Voice, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader and many of the biggest unscripted formats on television. The team are looking for an Office Assistant/Junior Development Researcher to be a part of the UK unscripted development group, based in London.

You will be a lover of TV and an ideas generator who is constantly thinking about the next big show idea. You'll be working in a team so you'll need to be able to collaborate with others to turn ideas into brilliant programme proposals.

You'll be confident, creative and energetic with the ability to create presentations in PowerPoint and ideally, have the ability to help create taster tapes. You'll also need to have strong organisational skills, and have the ability to assist the team by arranging diary dates and external meetings. This position will be reporting to the Head of Development.

It is essential candidates have strong media software skills, be able to demonstrate creative thinking and operate effectively and successfully within a team.


Educated to degree level or equivalent with some experience of a television production or development environment is desirable.

This will be a three month contract, with the possibility on extending - with an immediate start.
