We are looking for x2 Trainee VFX Junior Compositors to become a pivotal role in Aardman's latest flagship Shaun the Sheep project.Role 1:Start and End Date: 17th June 2024 - 6th Sep 2024 (initially based at our Gas Ferry Road studio, then moving to our Aztec West studio from July 2024) Hours: 40 per weekRole 2:Start and End Date: 9th September 2024 - 22nd November 2024 (based at our Aztec West studio)Hours: 40 per weekSalary: Depending on ExperienceThis Trainee VFX Junior Compositor role forms part of the production Compositing Team and will be primarily focused on compositing shots to completion in readiness for final grade.Shots will vary in complexity from simple paint to more complex, multi-layered Composite with roto, green screen, multiple elements including DMP and CG.You will work closely with the Compositing Supervisor. to perform all tasks in the compositing process needed for assigned shots. This will involve following the production procedure to ensure that progression and completion of shots is clear and to keep the production team informed if assigned shots might take longer than scheduledSuccessful applicants will need to have knowledge of Nuke software and a willingness to learn the stop-frame and CG process.
