ABOUT US dock10 Studio Operations Department provides operational services to a number of areas within the overall business. We are a small team in dock10 and work closely with colleagues. We are looking for a Turnaround Manager to work within our turnaround team looking after scenic, electrical, stores and logistics operations supporting studio based productions.dock10 is one of Europe's leading digital media service providers. Operating at the heart of MediaCityUK in Manchester, our clients have access to seven HD TV studios, two radio studios, digital post-production, cloud media management services and advanced connectivity options. About the role and your skills You will be one of three operational managers that are responsible for the safe and cost effective installation and removal of sets, lighting and rigging for shows and events in our facilities at MediaCityUK.You will be the line manager for the small team of electrical staff working for dock10 and expected to be the lead point of contact for the production lighting electrical equipment we supply to our clients.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORFace to face customer service experience, delivering under pressure and exceeding client expectations.Experience of lighting within the broadcast and event industry is essential.Experience of setting and rigging is desirable.Experience of assembling and managin ad hoc teams to install sets and lighting rigs.Electrical and safety qualifications including NEBOSH, IOSH, BS7909 and IEE 17th edition are desirable.WE WOULD REQUIRE YOUTo work in a collaborative manner, seeking out innovative solutions to resolve individual production challenges and make longer term infrastructure improvements.
