We believe everyone has something valuable to offer, and strive to create a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.We are looking for a mid-weight Video Editor - an experienced and creative storyteller (working in Premiere) who can make impactful films, aligned to our current output. You will be working alongside our Producers and Directors, to craft these stories, and across multiple projects. You'll be a pro with Premiere, and have solid skills in After Effects making awesome integrated graphics and high quality content from start to finish.You need to be ambitious and ready to work in a fast-paced environment and you must be an excellent team player. You will be an integral part of the core business as well as individual film teams, reporting into the Executive Producer.The day-to-day role:Editing (both video and audio) using Premiere Pro and After EffectsCrafting engaging stories for a range of platformsOverall management of projects, often on tight deadlinesWorking on your own, remotely, and as part of a team.Working closely with producers & directors to ensure the smooth running of each projectAdvising producers and creatives on production problems and the ability to spot possible challenges ahead of timeKeeping updated with best practices and technical specificationsManaging project archiving and storageRequirementsSkills and ExperienceMinimum 5+ years experience, and experience of working in-house at an agency / production companySignificant professional experience as a Video Editor in PR / Advertising or premium branded content.Highly proficient in NLE editing, grading and audio mixing using Premiere ProExperience in After Effects with graphics creation and integrationExperience in Adobe CCExcellent time management and project management skills, the ability to prioritise and drive forward multiple projects at a timeA strong eye for detail ensuring all work is QC'd for review and of the highest standardTechnical understanding of digital video, formats, LUTs, pixels, bits and bytes, workflows, output, file types and all other technical elements of post workflow.Personal Qualities and CommunicationOrganised and self-motivatedA natural collaborator - facilitating lines of communication within the creative team, production and clientsHard working with a positive outlook - taking work (and play) seriously!A solution based attitude - the more impossible a task the bigger the opportunity to excel, succeed and create!Proactive - going the extra mile to get things doneA strong passion for storytelling, making every edit an opportunity to create the best work possibleCurious - constantly keeping up to date with the latest trends, innovations and progressions in your field and sharing these with the team to inspire the next project*Please include a link to your work when applying for this position.
