NIO Cocktails is a premium ready to drink Cocktail Brand, which has grown to ~€5m annual revenue through direct to consumer eCommerce and wholesale/retail channels in the UK, Italy & Germany.

In the summer of 2023 NIO Cocktails completed a strategic review with proven eCommerce / Brand growth consultancy The Growth Foundation to a plan to drive NIO Cocktail's revenues to €30m+ over the next 3 years.

Part of this plan was to secure a strategic investor and operational partner to fund and deliver this growth. In December '23 NIO Cocktails secured a strategic investor and The Growth Foundation as shareholders, creating a new Executive Board, who will build and deploy the growth plan, which includes this career defining role; allowing the right candidate to make their mark, learn while doing and work to propel NIO Cocktails into a trail-blazing, aspirational ready to drink Cocktail brand.

About the role

Reporting to NIO Cocktail's Creative Director, We are looking for a Midweight Photographer / Videographer / Editor to produce high-quality photo & video content that showcases our brand and products in an engaging and visually stunning way. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a strong technical skill set in photography, videography and editing / post production. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for creating compelling video content across various platforms, from social media to advertising, that captivates our audience and drives brand awareness and engagement.

To succeed in this role, you must have an entrepreneurial mindset and a growth-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate the fast-paced and constantly evolving nature of our direct to consumer, e-commerce business, alongside our support B2B / wholesale activity - all across our three live markets (UK, Italy & Germany). You must be willing to take calculated risks and have a bias for action.

Additionally, you must be customer-focused and have a deep understanding of our target audience. You must be passionate about our products and have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends in brand, marketing and eCommerce. You must be creative and innovative, with the ability to anticipate and respond to changing customer needs and preferences, before they happen.

Finally, You will need to be a collaborative and inclusive teammate, with a willingness to listen to and learn from diverse perspectives. You must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be a champion for the brand and its values.

This is a hybrid role working out of the London office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities will include...

Support the wider demand creation team to deliver the Objectives for NIO Cocktails;
€12m revenue in 2024 and onwards to €30M+ with >8% EBITDA in 2026;
Employee NPS >8;
Customer NPS >8;
Photo / Video Production: Conceptualise, plan, and execute photo / video shoots, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
Photography / Videography: Capture high-quality footage using professional camera equipment, ensuring technical excellence in composition, lighting, and sound.
Photo / Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished photo / video content that aligns with brand guidelines and storytelling objectives.
Motion Graphics: Create motion graphics, titles, and visual effects to enhance video content and convey key messages effectively.
Storytelling: Use visual storytelling techniques to create engaging narratives that resonate with our target audience and evoke emotion.
Content Optimization: Tailor photo / video content for different platforms and formats, optimising for maximum engagement and impact.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional demand creation & content teams, with overall campaign objectives and brand messaging.
Feedback and Iteration: Solicit feedback from team members and stakeholders, incorporating input and making revisions as needed to achieve the desired outcome.
Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in photo / videography, editing software, and equipment, continually refining skills and knowledge.
About you

3-5 years of professional experience in photography / videography and editing, preferably in a creative agency or in-house brand / marketing team.
Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Experience with motion graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects, is a plus.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of photo / video projects, including branded content, commercials, and social media videos.
Excellent understanding of photography / cinematography principles, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.
