JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for someone that has a background in editing and filming wildlife to join our video team at the Robert Fuller Gallery in Thixendale, North Yorkshire. This role will be varied, and you will be liaising with other members of the team. Roles will include editing video content, researching and clipping storylines, managing media, handling camera kit and filming wildlife.

Robert E Fuller is one of Britain's foremost wildlife artists and filmmakers. A recognized authority on wildlife, he regularly features on TV. His social media following numbers more than 2.5 million committed followers. Robert is known for his detailed insights into animal behaviour. The business, set up in 1998, is based in North Yorkshire, 20 minutes drive from the city of York and employs 8 staff.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- be able to produce high quality edited content.

- Competent in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge etc

- be extremely knowledgeable about wildlife.

- enjoy filming wildlife to a high standard using professional grade equipment.

- have an eye for a storyline.

- experience in managing video files.

- good knowledge of operating and setting up a wide range of camera equipment and microphones.

- Good IT skills

Additional skills of benefit:

- Experience in outdoor work, such as building hides etc.

- Drone operator

- methodical, accurate and possess an eye for detail.

- good communicator

- work both on their own unsupervised and with other team members.

- able to follow current systems and workflows.

- be fit and capable to carry out physical work and filming tasks.


DAY TO DAY DUTIES

- Editing video content

- Looking through raw footage and picking out storylines

- Organising and sorting media files

- Managing camera kit

- Assisting with building of hides and habitat creation

- Filming in remote locations

REQUIREMENTS


Applicants should be able to demonstrate

- - a strong knowledge of wildlife

- - excellent video editing skills

- - Competent camera operator

- - In-person role in North Yorkshire, UK, this job cannot be done remotely.

- - Full UK driving license
