We're looking for a talented and driven Writer/Researcher to join The Daily Mail's Shows Team, working on our growing slate of high-impact, long-form YouTube programming, including hit series like Battle Board, War on Tape, and Geopolitics on Tape. These shows explore modern conflict, military strategy, and global power struggles in a premium, documentary-style format.

Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and verifying UGC video and archival footage, including agencies.
Assist in writing compelling and well-structured scripts for our flagship shows.
Compile detailed and accurate research briefs to support production and editorial teams.
Source, collect, and fact-check B-roll and archival footage.
Work closely with producers, editors, and animators to ensure historical and geopolitical accuracy.

Essential Skills and Experience:
Strong background in journalism, history, international relations or related field.
Deep understanding of current geopolitics, military affairs, and world news.
Excellent writing and research skills, with attention to factual accuracy and storytelling.

Desirable:
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software.
Experience writing scripts to images.
Familiarity with visual storytelling and documentary production workflows.
