Hat Trick Productions is currently recruiting for a Junior Accounts Assistant to work in-house, they will be working across Corporate side of the business as well as productions which include Music and Factual entertainment programmes from Development through to Postproduction.This position is fast paced and varied in nature, as they will be working across multiple productions at any one time so the ability to multitask and meet ad-hoc deadlines as well as month end tasks is a must.Main responsibilities:Purchase Ledger• Input invoices onto the accounting package NAV daily • Prepare weekly creditor payment runs • Email out remittance advice's to suppliers • Deal with supplier queries • Review supplier statements each week and chase up any invoices not yet received• Weekly review of aged creditors / match off payments with invoices / chase up missing invoices• Aged Creditor appendix to be included in monthly management accounts• Open the post daily and distribute to the various departments Bank• Post all payments from the bank daily • Prepare weekly bank reconciliations for Main bank account and other production bank accounts• Raise inter account transfers between bank accounts as requested by Line Manager and Production AccountantsPetty Cash• Deal with all cash requests from productions • Update petty cash log daily with floats/expenses vouchers and post onto NAV• Chase up outstanding floats • Produce monthly petty cash reconciliation / Top up petty cash tin when required• Reconciliation of the cost monitor (held by the Production Manager) to the cost report Credit /Prepaid Cards• Action credit card purchases for Associate companies as well as their productions. • Log all transactions onto credit card reconciliation and upload these onto NAV once reconciled with statement monthly• Apply for new credit cards and cancel old ones• Reconciliation of the cost monitor (held by the Production Manager) to the cost report Person Specification:• Accuracy, the ability to multi task, attention to detail and able to work to deadlines• A forward facing, outgoing personality with a "can do" attitude • A good understanding of Excel is preferable Why Join us?
