We are looking for an experienced Assistant Producer to provide project and production support to the Producers with particular responsibility for supporting touring productions in the UK and Stratford and focusing on work made for and by young people.Reporting to the Producer, key areas of responsibility include (please see the full job description and person specification for the comprehensive list):• To work with the Producers' Dept as the primary contact and coordinator for all tours • To produce smaller scale work for touring and in Stratford including Next Generation, Playmaking and First Encounters• To draft contracts with venues, schools and co-producers liaising with other departments as necessary • To undertake general administration for productions and tours • To plan and book small scale tours To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have the following knowledge and experience:• Experience of the day to day running and administration of theatrical productions • Experience of working with young people in participatory settings • Experience of contract administration and negotiation • Interest in touring theatre including to schools and community settings. • Experience of drafting and managing budgets This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months, based in Stratford-upon-Avon but will work across various locations.You will be working 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, although occasional weekend and evening work will be required.Application ProcessAll applications should be made online using the RSC website.
