Audio Technician

Part time: Two days per week - Semester time only (34 weeks)

Salary range: £25,138 to £26,444 per annum pro rata, £7,484 to £7,873 per annum including holiday allowance

About this role

Our Department of Creative Industries, based at our Bognor Regis Campus offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses that prepare our students for careers in the screen based creative industries. The successful post holder will lead and support on all audio capture and design activities; demonstrating the use of the equipment to staff and students as well as maintaining the audio related facilities and equipment, that include professional recording studios, post production area and dub suite.

About you

The appointed postholder will be educated to Degree level or equivalent in a related area with a broad understanding of the creative industries but specifically in audio capture and design. Verifiable skills are essential in a range of creative software particularly Avid Protools combined with a knowledge of microphones across a number of applications.
