Superb opportunity to join one of the UK's top drama production companies. BASED IN MANCHESTERTHE COMPANYOur client is a successful independent production company producing high quality drama. They have some exciting projects going into production this year so require an experienced Production Executive to join their Manchester office.THE ROLEAs Production Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end process from green light to full delivery, finding solutions to help deliver the creative vision and ambitions for the shows. Key responsibilities:Ensuring production adhere to the appropriate processes and procedures, overseeing insurance, H & S and risk management. Creating provisional schedules and development budgets for upcoming productions. Ensuring the productions meet their business plans and aiding productions in working towards the locked budget. Working with Executive Producers and Director of Production to assist in crewing up key HODs.Working with Finance and Legal and Business Affairs teams for contracts, ensure immigration and personal taxation procedures for the local territory are implemented correctly. Cost report management (including in respect of qualifying spend for applicable tax incentives) and liaising with the Director of Production and Production Finance regarding cost and cashflow management. Monitoring call sheets, DPRs, shooting speed and schedule changes and flagging to Director of Production any specific areas of concern. Ensuring productions follow correct clearance procedures for all content compliance, defamation and third-party copyright. Ensuring all broadcasters and distributors have all conditions precedent satisfied and documented as delivered. THE PERSON For this role, you will need a proven track-record as a Production Executive/Line Producer/UPM of high-end UK TV drama. You should be within commutable distance of Manchester, and flexible to travel to the London office on occasions.You will be skilled at overseeing large budgets, complex schedules and international shoots.An up to date understanding of governing guidelines for employment, H & S, HMRC and unions as well as an excellent working knowledge of Movie Magic and Excel. Lastly, you must be willing to travel in the UK and abroad.
