We are seeking an experienced Events Ops Assistant to join our team at Soho Farmhouse (OX7 4JS). The Events Operations Assistant is involved in providing exemplary service during various events and functions. Events Operations Assistant play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a positive and enjoyable experience.Main Duties...Greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs, and ensuring overall satisfaction.Setting up and maintaining banquet or event tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing dishes in a timely and efficient manner.Effectively communicating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service team members to coordinate the smooth flow of the event.Paying close attention to details such as table settings, food presentation, and ensuring that guests' requests and preferences are met.Quickly addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during the event, such as handling special dietary requests or resolving guest concerns.Collaborating with other event staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure seamless execution of the event.Working efficiently to ensure timely service and contribute to the overall success of the event.What we are looking for in a Events Ops Assistant...1-2 years' experience in a busy high-profile hospitality venue.Team player who communicates well with all colleaguesPunctual, reliable and trustworthySense of urgencyYes, yes, yes mentalityAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentHave a genuine passion for Events as well as F&BFlexible and available to work both opening and closing shifts when required including weekends and late nights.Expected Working Hours For a Events Ops AssistantVarying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes Average hours 32-45 hours per week Subsidised transport rate offered from: Chipping Norton (OX7) & Banbury (OX15 & OX16)
