We work in some of London's most exclusive high-end events venues with some of the world's most prestigious brands.

We provide technical production (lighting, sound, AV, custom scenery, furniture, graphics etc) to a range of high-profile events. The work is fast paced (install times of 45 minutes are not uncommon) and diverse in scale but offers a chance to be part of some of the most prestigious events in London.

As a rapidly growing team we can also offer many routes for internal promotion, as well as the opportunity to experience a number of different aspects of the business.
Following a successful period of development of the company and a relocation to larger premises, Light Motif have a number of opportunities available to join their dynamic team.

The Role:
We currently have a vacancy for skilled, experienced and motivated lighting professional to join our team at a senior level, as Head of Lighting.
The role primarily involves:
• Taking responsibility for the creative design, specification and delivery of the lighting aspects of the company's projects. This will include producing CAD plans and visuals.
• An element of work on-site, installing and operating the lighting elements of projects, primarily in the Unique Venues of London.
• Collaborating with other members of the projects and technical teams to profitably and creatively deliver events of the highest standards.
• Appraising and selecting new lighting technology to continue to expand and enhance our service offering.

About you - Skills:
• Proven track record within the live events lighting industry, including demonstrable skill in both design and technical aspects.
• Experience in of a technical rental supplier in the live events / production industry would be an advantage, as would experience with the Unique Venues of London.
• Strong working knowledge of full range of current lighting &rigging equipment and practices.
• Good communications / interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT knowledge with the ability to produce CAD plans and visuals to a high standard.
• Proactive, self-motivated individual capable of working on their own initiative in a constantly changing and pressurised environment and fast developing company.
• Full driving licence, own transport and passport required.
• Ability to travel within UK, Europe & internationally, often at short notice.

Remuneration: £35,000 to £40,000 Per Annum
