A Productions are looking for a lead designer with proven experience in the animation industry to work with us on an exciting new 2D pre-school series based on a well known and much loved series of children's books.A Productions is an award-winning animation studio based in central Bristol. Delivering a creative, inclusive work community that encourages collaboration, engagement and mutual trust at its core.General Duties:To work closely with the Art Director to maintain the overall visual style for the seriesTo work with the production team to meet the requirements of the scheduleWork with the design team to create the Set, Prop and Character Design Pack in line with the Clients and Director's visionTo work with the Layout supervisor to ensure a smooth transition into animationWork with the rigging team to ensure the character/prop design vision is implemented and maintained within production constraintsTo manage and oversee the design team ensuring all feedback is correctly addressed and implementedAttend all relevant meetings, to include breakdown meetings and design reviewsSkills and experience:Design experience on an animated broadcast seriesExperience working alongside junior team membersProven experience of working to a tight scheduleExcellent knowledge of PhotoshopAbility to create designs in line with an established visual styleA Productions are an equal opportunity employer and place a high value on diversity and inclusion within our company and actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
