Post Production Delivery Supervisor

London

We are looking for an experienced Post Production Delivery Supervisor to join our friendly inhouse team. This is a full time role encompassing post production supervision, managing the inhouse library and the Group's annual awards submissions. We are committed to flexible working and would consider job-share applicants.

Post Production Deliverables Supervision
• Support the inhouse Production Team to gather and assess the delivery requirements for master programme files and assets and paperwork for each production (main broadcaster, distributor and social media), and obtain quotes for the productions at budgeting stage.
• Maintain good working knowledge of the delivery requirements for current Broadcasters, Distributors and Streamers, and stay informed of changes to rights and music clearance procedures.
• Prepare detailed and accurate start up and deliverables closedown checklists for each production.
• Act as the main post production delivery contact for all Hat Trick, Livewire and HTM productions offering support and advice to the productions where needed.
• Meet with Line Producers, Production Managers and Coordinators regularly during production to work towards a thorough and complete closedown, and identify early if a production is encountering any problems to complete the closedown to schedule and budget.
• Assess skillset and experience of the freelance Coordinators who will be working on the post production paperwork systems including Silvermouse, On Music and PCIS and offer training on said systems if needed, and assistance with music and rights clearance queries if required.
• Conduct a final thorough check of all Broadcaster deliverables: including delivery of master programme files and assets, and paperwork, before submission, ensuring that all licences and forms have been saved in the correct place and the bible document has been completed.
• Conduct a final thorough check of all digital assets' labelling before they are sent to the inhouse Tech Team for entry into the Media Asset Management System.

Archive
• Main point of contact for submission to and retrieval of company paperwork, rushes and master tapes from our offsite archive facility, and continue current work to rationalise items currently in storage.
• Responsible for the back-up and filing of all master and audio final deliverables from the post house.
• Management of the company's programmes' and stills' archive, continuing current project of transferring all viewing copies onto file.
• Management of the Hat Trick music library.

Awards
• Manage all awards entries for Hat Trick, Livewire and HTM productions.
• Coordinate tickets, table bookings, dietary requirements and travel to award events
PERSON SPECIFCATION

Experience & Knowledge
• Previous experience of managing all aspects of post production paperwork and physical programme delivery to a wide range of broadcasters- ideally at least 3 credits as Post Production Coordinator. We have a preference for that experience to include both non-scripted and scripted productions.
• Demonstrable understanding of rights and music clearance.
• Experience of producing Schedule of Residuals - a good understanding needed of secondary payments for performers who have been engaged on Equity contracts.
• Solid experience of file-based technology and good understanding of workflows.
• Understanding of post production processes and terminology.
• Confident excel user and good working knowledge of post production paperwork software systems such as Silvermouse and PCIS.
