International Ob Doc Experienced PC requiredRare TV are seeking a PRODUCTION COORDINATOR to work on an exciting show for the Smithsonian Channel to start on Monday 9th September until end of October 2024, 7 weeks on location.This role will be based in JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA, we are expanding our production team now the series is in full swing. We are recruiting an experienced, highly organised PC to work alongside myself and another PC on location in Johannesburg. This candidate will have a breadth of experience setting up and filming internationally, enjoy being on location whilst having excellent attention to detail, a proactive attitude and be able to hit the ground running.Key Responsibilities:· Collate shoot information to create call sheets and movement orders.· Plan detailed logistics for shoots including all travel & accommodation· Handling finance management in foreign currency; create Purchase Orders, forecast POs, reconcile credit cards, manage expenses and petty cash.· Release Form management· Working alongside the production team to be the right-hand person in the day to day running of the shoot and managing a happy team!Qualifications Required:· Experience in setting up and managing international shoots· Ability to travel on location - ideally you will have previous experience of working on location.· Strong organisational and multitasking skills· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Experience with PMI preferable but not essential· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment· Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail· Most importantly have a friendly, positive can do attitudeRate will be based on experience.
