Technical Engineer

London

Final Cut & Machine are looking for a Technical Engineer for their London based Edit house and Audio Studios.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and ensuring functionality of edit suites and studios including software AND hardware.
Monitoring backups
Archiving/restoring
Onboarding security protocols for staff and visitors.
Support Editors / Edit suites and Audio department tech .
Organising and managing cable stocks and computer peripherals
Trouble shooting

The ideal candidate will be hard working, punctual, have excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve problems calmly with a practical approach.

They will also have a good understanding of Mac hardware and Avid Media Composer and PROTOOLS. Knowledge of Adobe CC, DaVinci Resolve, OSX/Windows, Nexis storage systems, Remote working platforms, Network based file transfers and delivery will be an advantage but not essential.

This will be a great opportunity for an Engineer to grow within the technical department of an expanding creative company.

Salary commensurate with experience.
