Stagecast is looking for a part-time Technical Supervisor to join our busy team, working closely with the Head of Production and Technical Producer to deliver productions of all scales.Stagecast is a film and TV production company working primarily in classical music and other performing arts. We specialise in multicam filming, live streaming and broadcasting of music and other artforms, working with high profile arts organisations across the UK and beyond to create beautiful, class-leading music and arts films for television, specialist streaming platforms and social platforms.As our Technical Supervisor you will report to the Head of Production and also work closely with the Technical Producer. You will be responsible for managing our store, maintaining and developing Stagecast's in-house production equipment (including our flyaway PPU multi-camera rigs), and preparing equipment and rigs for productions of all types and scales, including technical prep, packing, loading and driving hire vehicles to location.This position will also involve regular work on location as a technical guarantee and supervisor, and potentially in other operational roles such as camera operator, vision engineer or digital intermediate technician (DIT), depending on your interests and experience.This position is being offered as a permanent part-time (0.75) role. As an accredited 4 Day Week employer, our full time staff work 4 days (28 hours) per week, therefore this role is 3 days (21 hours) per week.The role will require travel across the UK and very occasionally overseas, and the ability to work flexibly to meet the requirements of production schedules, including evenings and weekends. Stagecast's directors and equipment are currently based in London, and much of our current production work is also in London. Planning and administrative work can either be fully remote, or undertaken at Stagecast's base (currently West London).We are proud of the ethos and values which underpin everything we do at Stagecast.
