Technical Support Manager - Camera

Acton, W3

Pixipixel are currently seeking a Technical Support Manager to work within our Camera Division based at Acton.

Key Responsibilities:

As Technical Support Manager you will provide comprehensive technical, advisory, and customer service support to crew and clients. Your role will encompass all camera demonstrations, lens tests, crew set visits and looking after all crews whilst testing on site at our premises in Acton.
This role will also be an extension of our marketing and sales teams, hosting workshops, introducing new equipment to clients and film students as well as internal training for staff.

You will be technical competent, outgoing, approachable with a can-do attitude.

About the role:

The role is a permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. The role will be based out of our Acton site.

Skills and experience:

• You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a location-based role such as Focus Puller/ 1st AC, Camera Operator or DOP. Or comparable experience such as extensive experience as a equipment demonstrator or senior sales person working in camera or optics sales.
• You will have a strong understanding of technical camera and optical equipment from all leading manufacturers.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage (when required) teams and individuals.
• Excellent communicative and organisational skills and a passion for the Film & TV Industry.
