A Productions are looking for a 2D rigger with proven experience in the animation industry to work with us on an exciting new 2D pre-school series based on a well known and much loved series of children's books.A Productions is an award-winning animation studio based in central Bristol. Delivering a creative, inclusive work community that encourages collaboration, engagement and mutual trust at its core.General Duties:Rig 2D assets to achieve the intended animation performance for a Toon Boom Harmony animated series.Work as part of the rigging team to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve rigs in production, while ensuring their stability for the animation teamWork closely with the director, animation team, and art department to incorporate any technical fixes and address creative and logistical feedback as requestedEssential skills and experienceMust have experience rigging in Toon Boom Harmony and accomplished knowledge of current rigging and deformation techniquesProven experience working as a rigger in the TV/film animation industry (broadcast kid's series experience preferred)Strong ability to focus and attention to detailMust be able to take direction well and work to tight deadlinesGood communication skills and experience working in a team environmentGood eye for detail and designA Productions are an equal opportunity employer and place a high value on diversity and inclusion within our company and actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
