We have a challenging and exciting opportunity in our London office for a talented Video Editor to join our growing production team and provide support with lighting, production planning, shooting, file management and postproduction for studio and location video-shoots and filmmaking. This is a newly created role, giving you a chance to make an instant impact and play a significant role in an early stage ofa fast-growing company.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Video Editor you will assist the Videographer by organising and editing visual content captured by the content production teamsSupport all day-to-day studio operations and core seasonal / special project workflowshelp execute the creative vision and be part of the team that delivers compelling content specific to platform requirements and aligned to platformContribute to key activities across video and postproduction projectsWorking with a team of mixed disciplines of designers, artworkers, copywriters and marketers from concept through to completionBuild good cross functional relationships with internal departments and assist on production and external collaborators communicationsSupport the shoot team on all studio operations, organise equipment on set, support on lighting and offer other technical support where neededGeneral up keep of our photo studio space, product organisation and propsHelping with post production, retouching and video editingRequirements2 years' industry experience in a similar role for a production agency or fashion/lifestyle brandDegree level education in a related field (photography, video) or equivalent experienceProven knowledge/experience using DSLR cameras and photo/video equipmentProven experience of building effective relationships and managing stakeholders within variousInternal departments and external collaboratorsSKILLSStrong understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite workflow and experience using DaVinciResolve or Final CutA keen interest and experience in motion and video with knowledge in Adobe After Effects orsimilar video editing toolStrong retouching and video editing skillsExcellent communication skills including questioning, listening and interpretingPassion for learning and contributing the wider team effortsStrong organization skills and a hands-on, can-do approachAbility to assist team members with managing asset libraries and coordination of imageryAbility to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment, essentialStrong team spirit, self-motivation, not afraid to roll-up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get a job done
