What to expect from a day to day perspective:

To produce high-quality internal and external, engaging and informative videos for our online platforms and campaign content that conforms to brand guidelines.
Shoot a wide range of content.
Edit videos to a professional standard, including editing, titles, sound, and grade.
Manage work requests from stakeholders; estimate timelines and other job requirements.
Communicate work status to stakeholders and team managers - Identify and escalate issues where necessary.
Help define and maintain Joule's videography style, and ensure that all work adheres to Joules brand guidelines.
Understand what your Stakeholders ask for, and translate that into commercial, powerful, creative solutions.
Ensure the consistent application of the Joules brand in all creative output.
Lead and produce high-quality work across all required channels from conception to completion, or successfully hand over work to others for completion, providing subsequent guidance where necessary.
Create consistent and engaging video and digital content.
Attend kick-off meetings, working with a brief, an outline of footage, a shot list, a script and/or storyboards, as required.
Run video shoots, including staging, lighting, audio, and camera operation.
Assemble the raw footage, working with uncut rushes and sound.
Cut files are used to put together the film's sequence and create a 'rough cut' of the video.
Create the final cut by reordering and fine-tuning content, then adding effects, titles, audio, and music.
Always on the lookout for new content opportunities.

Location:

This is a full time role based at our Market Harborough, Leicestershire Head Office whereby you must be willing to be present in the office 5 days per week.

From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you have:

Experience working with motion graphics is desirable.
Qualification in videography, photography, graphic design, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Expert technical understanding of video and motion software, including Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Technically minded: able to use and maintain equipment.
Proficient in end-to-end film production, including video, sound, and editing.
Expert understanding of photographic theory in a particular composition, styling, and lighting.
Expert technical proficiency in editing, including correcting faulty footage, colouring, special effects, and grading.
Able to collaborate with colleagues from a range of disciplines.
Understanding of best practices for video publishing.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
Good technical proficiency in image editing and manipulation using Adobe CC.
Expert technical proficiency using camera software.
Expert knowledge of photographic processes.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to bring creative ideas and successfully follow briefs.
High level of quality control and attention to detail.
Knowledge of print design would benefit your application, as would experience with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
