We are one of the largest 'true' independent Production Companies left in the TV industry. Our hits are many and varied and include Derry Girls, Outnumbered, Dinner Date, Father Ted, Episodes, Room 101, Mastermind and Have I Got News For You. The Hat Trick Group encompasses HTM, co-owned with Jed Mercurio, Livewire Pictures which covers entertainment and live events including the Proms, and Plum Pictures which specialises in documentary and factual.

2020 saw us produce Bloodlands, a four-part thriller starring Jimmy Nesbitt for BBC 1, Kate and Koji, a six-part sitcom by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin for ITV, and cope with the challenges of keeping Mastermind and Have I Got News for You on air during lockdown.

2021 is looking very busy. We are in production with several scripted and non scripted productions across our Group companies - including Mastermind, Trigger Point - a new six-part drama, the proms, TV Showdown, Dinner Date as well as the long awaited third series of Derry Girls.
