For us, software is key, and we need talented folks who are happiest in engine exploring, ideating, sharing and with a sense of urgency. The games industry is an ever-evolving fast moving one, so we'd love to have people on board who aren't afraid to adapt, grow their skills and push both themselves and how we make games at Fuse.

What a Character Technical Artist does at Fuse Games:

As a Character Technical Artist?at Fuse, you will be a key collaborator and liaise between the character, art, and animation teams. You will be involved in the character creation stages in DCC, as well as helping implement those characters and animations in-engine. Actively looking for ways to innovative and create ways to improve the quality of the content we make for our games and facilitate better ways for content creators to work.

From rigging and shader development to helping create tools, you will be collaborating on a large part of the game's creation. You will also work with designers, programmers, and producers to craft the best experience possible, whilst working with the Technical Art Director and Studio Art Director to define and deliver the visual direction for all our games.

We are looking for talented folks with a growth mindset and must be highly competent in these areas:
Establishing best practices for art pipelines and workflows
Providing training and support for Artists to guide managing performance and technical implementation
Innovating workflows that enhance art quality
Identifying and solving art pipeline inefficiencies and proposing new tool ideas
Collaborating with tool and rendering engineers to create tools and artist friendly interfaces
Mentoring junior Technical Artists
Using DCC packages including Maya and Blender.
Using Unreal to deliver final fidelity assets.
